Each year the Board of Education sets goals for the year that we communicate to administration and staff in order to guide everyone's work and direction. For the 2007/2008 goals, the Lebanon Board of Education established five broad guidelines to keep the district heading in a direction established over the past several years. Overall, the Board is pleased with the progress made by Lebanon students and with the excellent staff members who make up the Lebanon teaching community. The following are the five general goals for the current school year:
• Continue to improve the academic environment in all schools. • Improve the instructional quality for all levels of students.
• Continue to monitor enrollments and population increases.
• Support the development of instructional technology.
• Support the continued improvement of the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
The Board of Education as always encourages parents and community members to become involved with the Lebanon Public Schools.
