Question 1. How were the New Assyrian and New Babylonian empires alike, and how are they different?

First, tell me how the New Assyrian and New Babylonian empires are alike, or similar. Then go on to explain to how they are different. You will want to examine how they developed such strong empires, how they maintained those empires, and how they made money.

Question 2. How do the geography and earlier history of Mesopotamia help to explain the importance of trade to both the Assyrians and the Babylonians?

What facts about the geography of Mesopotamia, the land and what they had or didn't have, led the New Babylonian and New Assyrian empires to need to trade? We are not talking about wanting to trade, why did they NEED to?

Question 3. What were the policies of Tiglath-Pileser III and Nebuchadnezzar that led to the downfall of their empires?

What were the things that Tiglath-Pilesar III and Nebuchadnezzar did that brought about the end of their empires? What did they do that made the people want them to go?
