Question 1.

What advances were made by these ancient cultures-the Yangshao, the Lungshan (Longshan), the Xia, the Shang, and the Zhou? This is a 5 part question. Tell me the advances (inventions or creations that they made first) of each culture. The first three are in the Neolithic section. The other two have their own sections.

Question 2.

How did China's Neolithic cultures resemble those of Mesopotamia and Egypt? First of all, since we have not yet studied the Egyptians, please do not do that part of the question. Tell me what similarities there are between the Mesopotamians (and how they lived and developed a culture) and the earliest Chinese people (and how they lived and developed a culture).,

Question 3.

How did China's geography affect its early history? Consider both the regions within China, and China's relationship to the rest of the world. First you need to know what kind of geography the Chinese had. Now, tell me how the geography (the land, the mountains, rivers, deserts, etc.) affected the way they lived and the way their civilization developed.
