Question 1.

How did the teachings of Confucius compare with those of the Moists, the Legalists, and the Daoists? First read about the teachings of Confucius. He talks about living a certain kind of like. How are those ideas similar and different to the other philosophers/thinkers of his time?

 

Question 2.

What might Confucius say about evil kings such as the last ruler of the Xia dynasty? In Confucius's teachings he talks about how a king should act. Does the last ruler of the Xia dynasty act in a way that Confucius would like? not like?

 

Question 3.

What were Confucius's ideas about how a government should be run? Confucius talked about the way that a government (the kings and the people) should work. Describe it. Should a ruler listen to his people the way our do today? Should they rule as a tyrant or a dictator? Does a leader or king have all of the power?
