A place for individuals or small groups to get extra help.

A classroom where students receive instruction to meet their IEP objectives.

What does a Resource Room Teacher do?

Some of the tasks that I complete on a daily basis include:

Teach organizational strategies and give homework assistance

Modify grade level content area, concepts, and vocabulary

Work with individual and small groups of students within their mainstreamed classes

Evaluate academic student strengths and weaknesses

Communicate with teachers and parents to discuss specific curriculum modifications
