3 Types of Questions

Literal – Literal questions focus on a fact or detail.  They use information found right in the text.

Inferential – Inferential questions figure out something or draw a conclusion.  They use background information combined with details from the text.

Evaluative – Evaluative questions ask for an opinion or feeling.  They use background information and personal beliefs to come up with an answer.
