With your Connecticut Public Library Card, you can research any topic

Right here, Right now!

With a constant increase in available technology, we must prepare our students not only to read and write, but also to develop the ability to retrieve and interpret information in a wide variety of formats.

Our goal is for students to become independent learners and be able to find needed information on their own. Students need to feel confident that they can research independently and enjoy it.

In our brief thirty days, students will learn to locate information resources both print and nonprint within the Library/Media Center and to find specific information within those sources. We will focus not only on location skills, but also on choosing the best source for the information needed.

Keyboarding has also been added to the rotation this year. Students will continue to gain proficiency in this area.
