The attached bid spec. will be used for the painting of various aluminum, ceramic, block walls and steel. The materials listed will be the only acceptable products for this project. Sherwin Williams colors will be chosen by the school once a contract has been awarded. Work will take place after the close of the school year in the later part of June.
It is the contractors responsibility to supply the proper liability insurance naming Lebanon Public Schools as the certificate holder to the district prior to any work being performed, The contractor will also provide the district with a town building department permit prior to any work being performed.
Sealed bids will be accepted up until the time of the bid opening. Bids will be opened and read aloud on May 4th at 1 p.m. in the conference room of the Superintendent at 891 Exeter Road Lebanon CT 06249. The bid will have “Lyman Painting Project” written on the outside of the sealed envelope.
The Lebanon Board of Education reserves the right to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the contract to the lowest proposal that meets the criteria set forth in the RFP and is in the best interests of the Lebanon Board of Education.
