Lebanon Middle School

We are looking forward to our annual Veteran's Day celebration here at LMS. It will take place in the morning of Monday, November 9.

We are looking for the following again this year:

1. Any family or friends of students to be honored at our assembly and to speak to small groups that morning. This is invaluable for our students!

2. Any photos you have of family veterans to include in our slideshow during the assembly and to the Wall of Honor throughout the building that day and week.

Please reach out to Erica Strong at erica.strong@lebanonct.org to ensure your amazing veteran is recognized as part of our event!

Our boys and girls cross country teams participated in an Invitational at Plainfield this weekend. Neave Berube placed sixth with a time of 16:55. The boys place first at the invitational, scoring 35 points. Cyril Green placed first with a time of 13:35, Teddy Branciforte placed forth with a time of 14:43, and Jesse Lawless placed 9th with a time of 15:01. The top 7 finishers for the boys placed 1st, 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 21st. Most importantly, I received a personal message from the meet director complimenting us on the high level of gratitude and sportsmanship our team showed!

Congratulations to our athletes who participated in Pantherfest this weekend at East Hampton Middle School. The boys soccer team held one team to a drtaw but lost the next two games. Meanwhile, the girls soccer team dominated the competition with three consecutive shut outs. The defense was particularly outstanding and did not allow a shot on goal all afternoon. Individually, the boys and girls cross country team also had a great day. Of the three races they participated in, they took 1st place in all three. In the boys 6th/7th grade race (5th grade included), Teddy took first with a time of 12:20. In the girls 6th/7th grade race (5th grade included), Clara took first with a time of 13:21 and Norah took second place with a time of 13:47. In the 8th grade Boys race, Cyril took first with a time 12:05.

Fifth graders in Ms. Reynold's class had a blast 'unpacking' various creepy crawlies that were delivered to be placed in their class 'nurse log'.

3-0 LMS at half time of the girls soccer game here at home.

Congrats to our LMS boys and Girls cross country teams. Cyril took first place for the boys team with a time of 14:39 and Teddy took second place with a time of 16:08. The boys finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th places rounding out their victory over Coventry. Clara took first place with a time of 16:14 and Norah took third place with a time of 17:28. The girls took second to Coventry.

Great day for the home opener for boys soccer versus our rival school, Porter.
