🌱🐔 Our students had an incredible day at the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center!
From touring the farm and learning about spring crops ready for harvest, to discovering the benefits of worm composting, the day was packed with hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences. Students even had the opportunity to meet and hold some very well-behaved chickens! 🐣
The adventure continued with a tadpole search at the pond before students worked together to prepare a delicious lunch featuring pea-pesto pasta, Caesar salad, and lilac cookies. 🍝🥗🍪
Best of all, the rain held off and a great time was had by all! Experiences like these bring learning to life and help our students connect classroom lessons to the world around them.
