Valentine's Dance Shenanigans...

Lots of love for one another shared amongst both students and staff this past Valentine's Day.

Students from Breakthrough South Magnet School came to visit us today. We dissected squids together and learned about the structure and function of squid. They also did another activity about salinity and density. This is part of our CT River Connections project funded by Project Oceanology designed to bring urban and rural middle schoolers together to work on scientific investigations that focus on the Connecticut River watershed.

Lebanon Middle School’s Veterans Day celebration is a heartfelt tribute to those who have served our country. Organized by Mrs. Erica Strong, who did an outstanding job planning and preparing the event, the day began with a “Wall of Honor” displaying photos and information about veterans’ names, ranks, years of service, and unique experiences. The PTO sponsored a breakfast for veterans in the library, followed by a schoolwide assembly. What a metaphor this morning - The sky was grey and the rain continued to drizzle. But then our Peer Mentors arrived at the Lebanon Town Green for their entirely student run Miles for Minds walk for mental health awareness and the clouds dissipated and the sun broke through. We could not be more proud!
