We are looking forward to our Fall Sports Season and it will be here soon!!! If you would like to participate in our athletic program, please visit familyID.com in order to register online. Online registration is mandatory for every athlete who would like to participate in the Lyman Memorial High School athletic program. Please go to our website and click on the online registration link at the top of the page and follow the sign-up prompts on the FamilyID website in order to register for fall sports. Our school nurse will be at the school for sports clearance soon! Clearance dates are August 14, 8am-10am, August 21, 10am-12pm, August 22, 1pm-3pm, August 23, 12pm-2pm.

Fall Meet The Coaches night will take place on Monday, August 14th, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm starting in the high school auditorium. All fall athletes, along with at least one parent/guardian should plan to be in attendance. Following a brief presentation by members of the athletic department, each fall program will gather in separate locations to meet their respective coaches. This is a great opportunity for new student athletes to meet their teammates, coaches and members of the athletic department, as well as for parents to ask questions and learn more about high school athletics. Hello Seniors! We are opening up the parking spots if you would like to paint yours this month before school starts. Please draw what you are thinking about drawing a proposal sheet and bring it into the main office with your $20 payment. ( sheets were emailed and we have copies in the main office) When you stop in, you can pick out your spot. Please don't start painting until we approve your design. Thanks everyone!

Are you looking for something to do this month?? We've got you covered! Post Grad is having a Live Auction on April 21 to raise money for the Class of 2023 Celebration. The FFA group is having breakfast and a plant sale on April 22 and then finally a Talent Show in May for the Class of 2023!

The drama productions in our district always deliver in spectacular fashion...this year was no exception. Our students performed in front of standing room only crowds on March 10th-12th. Congratulations to all the staff and students who helped put together such a remarkable rendition of Mama Mia #EngagedCollaborators #EffectiveCommunicators #LebanonPride

For the first time since 1967 our Boys Basketball team advanced to the CIAC state tournament semi-finals. The team lost to Shepaug in overtime by a score of 50-45. It was a historic run by the team and we are all proud of them #BleedBlue

Evening with the Arts- Thursday, March 2nd from 6-8pm Evening with the Arts is an annual celebration of the arts across the district. The visual arts and music from each school will proudly be on display through a program of live performances and gallery viewing of artwork from the talented and gifted students of our Lebanon community. Teachers and students will also be leading interactive activities to take part in throughout the event with an ongoing bake sale. All are invited to be a part of this yearly tradition that places the importance of the arts on this special stage to bring our students and community together.

Tickets are on sale for Mamma Mia! Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and will be available for purchase at the door or by going to the Lyman Memorial High School Main Office during school hours. Shows are Friday, March 10 at 7:00 pm Saturday, March 11 at 7:00 pm Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 pm.

Homework Club will begin on Monday, February 27th. It will meet weekly on Monday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's from 2:15-3:45pm in the library. Any student can attend and you will just need a ride home. You do not need to sign up but the expectation is you will be working on assignments for the entire time you are in the library.

Lyman's Drama Company presents And Then There Were None on Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. Both shows are at 7:00pm and tickets may be purchased in the main office for $10 each.

This Thursday, November 3 is the 8th Grade Open House for all students interested in finding out more about our Vo-Ag program! Come see us from 3:30-5:30!

Lyman Open House for all students interested in attending Lyman next fall 2023 on Thursday, December 1 from 6pm-8pm!

On Thursday, October 20th parents/ guardians are invited to a presentation in the library called Hidden in Plain Sight. A mock teen bedroom will be set up in the LMHS Library for adults to explore the bedroom as a walkthrough. The presenter is available to guide the exploration, answer questions, and provide additional information for community resources. This is an educational workshop for adults to gain insight into current trends in youth substances use.
